Founded in early 2023, our organization emerged from a shared vision to address health disparities within our local area and create a healthier, more equitable society. Since our inception, we have been committed to fighting against the adverse effects of health inequalities, with a specific focus on addressing cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and mental illness.

Our Mission

We advocate for health living

At the core of our identity is a deeply ingrained mission: to eliminate health disparities by raising awareness, providing essential support, advocating for evidence-based policy changes, and fostering collaboration in the battle against cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and mental illness. My interest in advocating NCDs
In religious settings, particularly churches, play an important role to disseminate and translate evidence-based health programmes for non-communicable diseases.Religious practices as religion may serve as a psychological mechanism for coping with high levels of stress and anxiety within the sub-optimal social and economic environments often prevalent. The popularity of religion provides an opportunity to address a large body of people.

How the Community will benefit

We are working to improve livelihoods

The community will be have the knowledge of the causes, symptoms and prevention against NCDs.

We are working to foster togetherness within the communities in Baringo County.

Better knowledge of NCDs enables will enhance better implementation of prevention strategies.

We encourage communities to shun stigmatization and offer support those affected.

Knowledge of NCDs’ symptoms will enable better monitoring and saving of more lives.

We hope to see improved quality of life with a drop in cases of NCDs in Baringo County.
